Welcome to The Red River Historical Society |
|
Hi there.
I just took over content management of the site. I would like to eventually add photos and old Historical Society Newsletters, however it will probably take some time. So hang in there until I can figure out how to edit the site. There is very little on the site right now. In case it isn't obvious to those who first find the web page, this particular Red River Historical Society and Museum is located in Clay City, Powell County, Kentucky. We have a $15 membership fee that includes 4 newsletters. Hopefully we will soon get the system out of snail mail (becoming too expensive) and move it to this webpage. That will be the primary purpose of this website. Some items and information will have free access, but the bulk of the site will only be accessible by those who are members and are up-to-date on their membership fees. If you found this page and are either a current member or are someone who may want to be a future member, contact me through this website. If I receive enough requests, then I will proceed with putting the newsletter on this site.
Thanks,
Larry Martin
